Jerusalem — November 29, 2014 … Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Druze community leaders. In attendance were Druze spiritual leader Sheikh Muwafaq Tarif, Sheikh Hatem Halabi, Sheikh Mahmoud Seif, Sheikh Fandi Salah Assad and Druze Local Councils Forum head Jaber Hamoud.

Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his condolences on the deaths of Israel Police Master Sergeant Zidan Nahad Seif, who was killed in last week’s terrorist attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, and Border Police Chief Inspector Jidan Assad, who was killed on November 5 when a Palestinian terrorist deliberately rammed his car into a crowd of people at a light rail station in Jerusalem.

Netanyahu told the Druze leaders, “You are our very flesh. You are an organic part of Israeli society. Your heroic policemen and soldiers have fallen in order to defend the state and all its citizens but we will defend your rights and your security. This is as important to us as defending the security of each and every citizen but there is a deep emotional commitment here that found expression in the crowds who came to the funeral. This emotionally underscored what Israeli citizens feel and what I feel.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu added: “We are in a major fight against Islamist extremist fanatics. This is not simple. This is a dangerous threat. This is a struggle that we must fight. From our perspective every citizen has the right to life, security and freedom of religion. Freedom of religion and freedom of conscience – this is our battle. From my point-of-view, your battle is my battle and my battle is your battle.”

Netanyahu will submit a plan for government approval in the next month calling for “significant investment” in Druze and Circassian communities, the prime minister announced on his Facebook page today.

The proposal will see more funds dedicated to education, infrastructure, and employment, Netanyahu said, “in order to close the gaps and advance the towns.”

Israel: We Reserve The Right To Defend Against A Nuclear Iran

NETANYAHU

By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency

Jerusalem, Israel — November 24 … Part of the following was communicated by the Prime Minister’s office to the Israel News Agency.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was interviewed today on the BBC and made the following remarks:

“No deal is better than a bad deal. The deal that Iran was pushing for was terrible. The deal would have left Iran with the ability to enrich uranium for an atom bomb while removing the sanctions.”

Netanyahu added: “The right deal that is needed is to dismantle Iran’s capacity to make atomic bombs and only then dismantle the sanctions. Since that’s not in the offing, this result is better, a lot better. I think Iran should not have any capacity to enrich. There’s no right to enrich. What do you need to enrich uranium for if you’re not developing an atomic bomb? They are. How do we know that? Because they’re developing intercontinental ballistic missiles. What do you do with such missiles? The only reason you build ICBMs is to launch a nuclear warhead.”

“So Iran, I think everybody understands, is unabashedly seeking to develop atomic bombs and I think they shouldn’t have the capacity either to enrich uranium or to deliver nuclear warheads. And I think that’s the position that the P5+1, the leading powers of the world, should take.”

“Netanyahu concludes: “What is the justification of not taking this position? They say, well, it offends Iranian pride. So what? I mean, if this position was taken in the 1930s against Germany, it would have offended German pride, but it would have saved millions and millions of lives.”

“You do not want to give this medievalist regime in Iran, that throws acid in the faces of women, that oppresses gays, that subjugates an entire population, that exports terrorism far and wide – don’t give these violent medievalists atomic bombs. That’s not a good thing for the future of the world and its security.”

I hope that the economic pressures continue. I mean, the fact that there’s no deal now gives an opportunity to continue the economic pressures that have proven to be the only thing that brought Iran to the table, to continue them, to toughen them. I think that’s the road that has to be taken. Israel is watching very carefully what is happening here. And Israel always, always reserves the right to defend itself.”

The Israel Prime Minister welcomed the decision today to extend nuclear talks between Iran and world powers, saying that the deal Tehran was pushing for was dangerous to Europe, the Middle East and North America and extending the negotiations was a much better and practical option.

Netanyahu: Security, Intelligence In Jerusalem Enhanced From Ground, Sky

Israel launches spy balloon near Lebanon border

By Israel News Agency Staff

Jerusalem, Israel — November 19, 2014 … Part of the following was communicated by the Israel Prime Minister’s Office to the Israel News Agency.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today visited the new command center of the Jerusalem Municipality observation unit, which operates observation balloons throughout Jerusalem and gives the municipality and the Israel Police real-time intelligence coverage of disturbances and violations of the law.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat briefed Prime Minister Netanyahu on this special unit, which serves as the aerial operations branch of the municipality, the Israel Police and the enforcement authorities, and on the way in which it assists the security agencies that operate in eastern Jerusalem in locating disturbances, large-scale gatherings, demonstrations, and the throwing of stones and firebombs.

“I am impressed by the genuine effort to market our capabilities, both to protect and to intervene in real-time against disturbers of the peace and terrorists,” said Netanyahu.

“No effort is spared here; this has great effect. This morning we demolished the home of an Islamic terrorist. This is a significant and important step and there will be more home demolitions; there will be many more steps. We have nothing against the residents of Arab communities in Jerusalem but we will not tolerate attacks on our Jewish citizens and we will act against those who do these things and against those engaged in incitement. With a determined and vigorous hand, we will restore security to Jerusalem.”

Jerusalem Mayor Barkat said: “Mr. Prime Minister, first of all, thank you for coming to the command center. Your interest is very important here because we know that with your support we will be able to boost personal security for the residents of Jerusalem.”

“I think that what has been formulated in recent days, with your help and that of the Israel Police, is a concept that will undoubtedly and dramatically increase our ability to respond to what we, unfortunately, experience in the city of Jerusalem. We had a very, very difficult day yesterday but we are looking forward and know that we will overcome and cope. You have seen what we are planning, what happens in the municipal command center, and I am pleased that you are here. It is good that you are backing us.”

MSNBC Blames Israel For Barbaric Jerusalem Terror Attack

By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency

Jerusalem — November 18, 2014 … In one of the most twisted news reports I have ever witnessed from a “Western” based media outlet, MSNBC blamed Israel today for the bloody, Islamic terror attack in Jerusalem.

Jihadists attacked innocent Jews at prayer in Jerusalem today with a pistol, an axe and a knife. They murdered four Rabbis and critically wounded several others.

MSNBC in reporting the barbaric attack stated that it was the result of Palestinians being “unhappy with their lives” in the West Bank.

What planet are the producers of MSNBC on?

The Israeli Arabs on the West Bank enjoy democracy – prosperity and freedoms found no where else in the Middle East. They are treated as equal citizens with Jews and Christians. They enjoy freedom of speech, freedom of religion and work opportunities unmatched in Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia,Qatar and Jordan.

So what prompted these Islamic terrorists to attack innocent Jewish civilians at prayer this morning? Islamic Jihad.
The same disease that ISIS suffers from. A holy war against Jews and Christians.

Hamas, based in Gaza, coordinated the attacks with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). These groups do not complain about “quality of life” as they receive billions of dollars from Qatar. They are strictly motivated by extreme Islamic beliefs to murder all Infidels – Jews and Christians.

prayer_book

MSNBC seriously needs to do a simple Google search on Islamic Jihad and stop blaming the Jews for all the problems in the Middle East. Their producers need to spend some time with Hamas, ISIS and the PFLP and ask them why they are beheading American humanitarians in Syria and Iraq? Why their brothers are beheading innocents in the UK, Canada, Africa and the US?

Until then, MSNBC has blood on their hands as they are providing a rationale, an excuse for Islamic fanatics to attack and murder innocent civilians with bombs, knives and axes.

It’s not about occupation of land.
It’s about a global holy war to murder Jews and Christians!

5 Jews Murdered In Jerusalem Terror Attack

Israel News Agency

UPDATED … Jerusalem, Israel  — November 18 … In a well planned terrorist attack this morning, two Islamic terrorists, one with a pistol and another with an axe and knife entered a synagogue in the Har Nof area of Jerusalem.

The first Jewish victim wearing Tallis and Tephillin was shot in the head. The terrorists then ran into various prayer rooms and a Beit Medrash.

A paramedic trying to deal with the wounded was shot in the leg before two policemen shot two of the terrorists dead.

A search is presently being conducted for their driver and a possible third attacker.

The number of casualties at present is 5 dead, 1 in serious condition and 3 in critical both from stabbings and shooting on some.

The dead have been identified as Rabbi Aryeh Kopinsky, 43, Rabbi Shmuel Goldberg, 58, Rabbi Calman Levine and Rabbi Moshe Twersky, 59.

Zaidan Sayyaf, an Israeli police officer who was wounded in this morning’s terrorist attack, has succumbed to his wounds.

The 27 year old officer (Druze) was one of the first to respond to the scene in the synagogue this morning, helping to stop the terrorists before they could murder any more civilians. He is survived by his wife and four month old daughter.

Thousands of people attended a joint funeral for Kupinsky, Levine and Goldberg before sundown — held outside the synagogue where the attack occurred during morning prayers.

The Israeli government announced measures to increase the city’s already heightened security. Schools and other educational institutions were ordered to ramp up their security. Most schools already have armed guards stationed at their entrance because of earlier attacks.

Speaking to journalists at the scene, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat expressed shock at the brutality of the attack. “To slaughter innocent people while they pray … it’s insane,” he said.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said the terror attack was “a pure result of incitement”. In an emotional statement in London, Kerry added: “Innocent people who had come to worship died in the sanctuary of a synagogue. They were hatcheted, hacked and murdered in that holy place in an act of pure terror and senseless brutality and murder.”

“This is the direct result of incitement being led by Hamas and Abu Mazen, incitement which the international community is irresponsibly ignoring,” said Prime Minister Netanyahu.

“We will respond with a heavy hand to the brutal murder of Jews who came to pray and were met by reprehensible murderers.”

Obama Continues to Bash Israel, Destabilizes Middle East

obama_arrogance

By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency

Jerusalem, Israel — November 12, 2014 … US President Barack Obama never misses an opportunity to attack one of America’s most trusted allies. And in doing so, he weakens US interests in the Middle East.

Last week,  US General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated that Israel went to “extraordinary lengths” to prevent civilian casualties during this summer’s war in the Gaza Strip.

“I actually do think that Israel went to extraordinary lengths to limit collateral damage and civilian casualties,” said General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, during a forum at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in New York City.

The Hamas tunnels “caused the IDF some significant challenges,” Dempsey said. “But they did some extraordinary things to try to limit civilian casualties, to include making it known that they were going to destroy a particular structure.”

General_Martin_E._Dempsey,_CJCS,_official_portrait
“Israel went to extraordinary lengths to limit
collateral damage and civilian casualties.”

Dempsey listed Israel Defense Forces measures such as the “roof-knocking”, sending of text messages and the dropping of warning leaflets as part of their attempts to protect civilian lives.

“The IDF is not interested in creating civilian casualties. They’re interested in stopping the shooting of rockets and missiles out of the Gaza Strip and into Israel,” Dempsey argued.

But these kind words for Israel by the number one soldier in the US did not match Obama’s contempt for the only democracy in the Middle East. Obama continues to write love letters to Iran’s leaders to reach a “nuclear deal” with Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei responding with a “we will annihilate Israel.”

Obama’s puppet in the US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki was asked by the AP’s Matt Lee during a press conference to react to Dempsey’s diplomatic comments. Psaki had the choice of agreeing with Gen. Dempsey, refusing to offer an opinion, or disagreeing with him — the latter, carrying the possibility of opening up another argument with Israel.

Lee asked Psaki to comment on whether the Obama administration believes that the Israelis lived up to their own “high standards” on civilian casualties.

Psaki undiplomatically replied: “It remains the broad view of this administration that they could’ve done more. And they shouldv’e taken feasible precautions to prevent more civilian casualties.”

I beg Psaki to tell us what more Israel could have done?

And is the US now promising not to harm one civilian in Syria or Iraq in it’s half hearted war against ISIS?

Obama, who has never worn a uniform, has never been in battle, is totally ignorant to the methods of warfare. It is then his very duty to rely upon those in the US who are experienced in security and defense to counsel him. To bash Israel once again in regards to what it could have done, should have done, must have done was to bash the US Pentagon.

Obama’s destructive ignorance and arrogance will not affect Israel. Don’t fear. We can and will defend ourselves while protecting civilians. Pity the US public and those in the Pentagon that he ignores.
Pity the peoples of the Middle East who seek peace and stability.

Pity the Chinese who have to put up with Obama as he chews gum in their faces.

As Iran Declares To Annihilate Israel, 2 Israelis Murdered in Terror Attacks

Israel News Agency

Jerusalem — November 10, 2014 … Israel suffered two separate terror attacks today by Palestinians from the West Bank.

Almog Shiloni, 20, of Modi’in was stabbed to death in Tel Aviv. Dalia Lamkus, 26, was stabbed to death just outside the town of Alon Shvuet in the Gush Etzion Region of the West Bank.

Lamkus was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist while waiting with others at a bus stop at the Gush Etzion junction in Israel, just next to the hitching station where Israeli teenagers Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Sha’ar and Naftali Frenkel were abducted this summer before being murdered by Palestinian Arabs.

A 26-year-old man was also stabbed and has been reported in moderate condition. A 50-year-old man who jumped from his car when he saw the attack, fought with the terrorist and was injured as well.

A guard at the nearby town of Alon Shvut, just southwest of Jerusalem, ran to the scene and shot the terrorist, who died while being transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The killer was identified by police as Maher Hamdi al-Hashalmoun from Hebron. A member of Islamic Jihad, he spent more than four years in Israeli prisons and was released five years ago, police said.

The funeral for Lamkus is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Tekoa, where the victim and her family have lived for 15 years.

Dalia Lamkus
Dalia Lamkus, a 25-year-old resident of Tekoa, was stabbed to death
by an Islamic terrorist. Her only crime was that she was Jewish.

In response to the terror attacks Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered the advancement of plans to demolish the homes of Palestinian terrorists in hopes of deterring further attacks.

Netanyahu has also placed more security forces, uniformed and plainclothes in the field, according the Prime Minister’s Office. Members of elite units of the Israel Police and the IDF are expected to increase patrols at bus stops, train stations and areas of high public traffic.

Netanyahu held an emergency meeting with Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, Public Defense Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz, Shin Bet Director Yoram Cohen, Israel Police Commissioner Insp.-Gen. Yohanan Danino and Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein.

He held similar consultations last week after a vehicular terrorist attack in which two Israelis were murdered.

Earlier in the day he told his party’s faction in the Knesset that Israel would withstand this latest wave of violence.

“The terrorism against us knows no borders. It is aimed at all parts of the country for a simple reason. The terrorists and those who incite to it want to get rid of us wherever we are. As far as they’re concerned, we don’t need to be in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or anywhere else,” he said at a Likud faction meeting.

“I’ll promise you one thing: They won’t succeed,” Netanyahu stated.

US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki condemned the terror attacks in Israel.

“We strongly condemn the stabbings today. We deeply regret the loss of life. Our condolences go out to the families,” she said.

In response to threats from Iran, Netanyahu has released the following statement this evening:

“There are reports that the P5+1 countries are close to a deal with Iran on Iran’s nuclear program. I’ve instructed my office to send a letter to the foreign ministers of the P5+1 countries. In that letter I bring, verbatim, the words of Iran’s ruler Ayatollah Khamenei. The leader of this country that is depicted by some as moderate, the Islamic State of Iran, has said in the last 48 hours: one, that he calls for the annihilation of Israel – his words, not mine; two, he gives nine ways and reasons of how and why Israel should be annihilated – his words, not mine. He’s publically calling for the annihilation of Israel as he is negotiating a nuclear deal with the P5+1 countries.”

“There is no moderation in Iran. It is unrepentant, unreformed, it calls for Israel’s eradication, it promotes international terrorism, and as the IAEA report just said, it continues to deceive the international community about its nuclear weapons program. This terrorist regime in Iran must not be allowed to become a nuclear threshold power. And I call on the P5+1 countries – don’t rush into a deal that would let Iran rush to the bomb.”

Netanyahu: Revoke Citizenship Of Those Calling for Destruction of Israel

netanyahu_revoke_citizenship

By Israel News Agency Staff

Jerusalem — November 8 … Part of the following was communicated by the Israel Prime Minister’s Office to the Israel News Agency.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has released the following statement this evening:

“Israel is a nation of law. We will not tolerate disturbances and rioting. We will act against those who throw stones, block roads and call for the establishment of a Palestinian state in place of the State of Israel. Whoever does not honor Israeli law will be punished with utmost severity. I will instruct the Interior Minister to evaluate revoking the citizenship of those who call for the destruction of the State of Israel.”

Netanyahu issued the above statement following thousands of rioters in Kafr Kana, a town in the Lower Galilee, clashing with Israel security forces on Saturday hours after a video emerged of police shooting a youth who was wielding a knife late Friday.

After the video emerged on Saturday police said they had no further statement at the time, only that the matter is now being investigated by the Justice Ministry’s department for investigating police.

Netanyahu also instructed officials to raze the homes of ‘terrorists’ who carry out attacks in Jerusalem.

The order was handed down during an emergency session on Thursday to discuss several violent incidents that have hit the city said Israel Radio.

The measures come in response to a series of deadly hit and run attacks which have recently targeted the holy city.

On Friday, Shalom Badani, a 17-year-old Israeli, died from injuries he sustained during a terror attack on Wednesday, in which Ibrahim al-Akari, a Palestinian Arab residing in East Jerusalem, rammed his van into a crowd. Akari was later shot dead by Israeli security forces after exiting his vehicle and attacking the crowd with a metal bar. A police officer was also killed in the attack. Twelve other people sustained injuries.

“Jerusalem is Israel’s capital and it is not a settlement,” said Netanyahu during a meeting with the new European Union Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini.

The Israeli Prime Minister said that the neighborhoods where Jews were living and building “have been in the hands of Israeli governments for the last 50 years.”

He continued that any such neighborhoods would remain a part of Israel under any peace arrangement, rejecting as “false” any claim that settlement construction lies at the root of the ongoing conflict. The issue facing Israel and the West is not related to the building of homes, but is Islamic Jihad – Holy War against all Jews and Christians.

Netanyahu called European politicians who had called for the unilateral recognition of Palestinian statehood “irresponsible.”

Forsaking Israel, 75 Percent of US Jews Want Iran Nuclear Deal

iran-icbm_new_york_large

By Joel Leyden
Israel News Agency

Iran, which funds and sends Islamic suicide bombers to Israel, has sworn to destroy the Jewish state. And they are dead serious in their threats.

President Obama appears either oblivious or totally negligent as he presses to reach a compromise with Iran on its nuclear program by the end of the month. But what is truly jaw dropping is that he can count on strong support from American Jews.

Jewish backing of Obama’s efforts to strike a deal suggests that American Jews do not hear the alarms being sounded in Israel by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He warns that any deal that leaves Iran with an enrichment program constitutes a mortal danger to Israel.

Strong Jewish support for a nuclear deal that limits, but doesn’t completely stop, Iran’s uranium enrichment abilities was a surprise finding of a telephone poll of Jewish voters who took part in Tuesday’s midterm elections. The poll also found strong support for an active US role in efforts to forge Arab-Israeli peace. At the same time, the survey found strong support for Israel’s handling of Operation Protective Edge, this summer’s military operation against Hamas in Gaza.

But it was the findings on Iran and the implication that American Jews would be comfortable with Iran retaining a nuclear program that stood out.

The survey found that over 75 percent of American Jews would favor either strongly or somewhat a deal with Iran that would alleviate tough sanctions on the Iranian economy in exchange for Iran’s agreement to limit its nuclear program to civilian purposes and accept inspectors at its nuclear facilities.

The United States and five other world powers face a Nov. 24 deadline for reaching a deal with Iran. Mr. Obama said Wednesday that the nations in talks with Iran have presented Tehran with a “framework” that would “allow them to meet their peaceful energy needs,” but he said he wasn’t sure if a deal could be reached by the approaching deadline.

President Obama reportedly wrote a secret letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei last month discussing their shared interest in fighting the Islamic State — a development one congressional source told Fox News “f***s up everything.”

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that, according to people briefed on the letter, Obama wrote to Khamenei in the middle of last month and stressed that any cooperation on dealing with the Islamic State, or ISIS, was tied to Iran striking a deal over its nuclear program. The U.S., Iran and other negotiators are facing a Nov. 24 deadline for such a deal.

According to the Journal, Obama has written to Khamenei four times now since taking office.

The congressional source told Fox News that the letter would upset the inroads they’ve tried to make with “the Sunni league,” noting that the president should have informed Congress of this back-channel if it was in fact going on.

“This f***s up everything,” the source said.

Iran’s government is Shiite-led, while the Islamic State is a Sunni terror group. The source was apparently referring to efforts to rally support among Sunni-led Arab states to confront ISIS.

Republican Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina issued a joint statement Thursday night saying it was “outrageous that, while the cries of moderate Syrian forces for greater U.S. assistance fall on deaf ears in the White House, President Obama is apparently urging Ayatollah Khamenei to join the fight against ISIS.”

“Iran should not be included in any coalition that is formed to fight ISIS, Israel Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman warned on Friday, during a joint press conference with visiting EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini.

“This kind of deal, this linkage between their nuclear program and their participation in a coalition against ISIS, it is a vision that we are completely against,” Liberman said.

“This approach is a mistake,” he said.

“Iran is completely unacceptable as a partner for any coalition,” said Liberman, noting that this was true even when fighting extremist forces in Syria and Iraq.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also spoke about Iran when he met with Mogherini. He warned Western powers now in negotiations with Tehran not to accept any deal in which Iran would remain a nuclear threshold state.

“That would be a big mistake. If Iran is left with residual capacity to enrich uranium for a nuclear bomb, ultimately this will destabilize the world,” Netanyahu said.

“Better no deal than a bad deal that leaves Iran with a capacity to enrich uranium for a nuclear bomb,” Netanyahu said.

One truly wonders where are American Jewish leaders?
Their silence is shockingly reminiscent of Jewish leadership in Europe prior to the Holocaust.
