May 19, 2016 — New York, NY … Mossab Hassan Yousef, also known as the ‘Green Prince,’ will join several Israeli and American officials and Jewish community leaders at the upcoming Fifth Annual Jerusalem Post Conference on Sunday, May 22  at the Marriott Marquis Hotel.

The son of Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef, Yousef lived a double life for many years. From 1997 to 2007 he operated as an Israeli undercover agent, all while being groomed by the Hamas leadership to take over the terror organization’s Political Wing. He has been hailed as one of the most valuable Israeli intelligence assets, thwarting countless terror attacks. His life story, which has been published as a bestselling autobiographical book in 2010, will be the topic of his talk at the conference.

Yousef will be joining a list of distinguished speakers including U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Ed Royce, Israel Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan, Israel Minister of Education Naftali Bennett, Knesset Member and former Israel Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, Israel Ambassador to the U.S. Ron Dermer, former Israel Defense Forces Chief of General Staff Gabi Ashkenazi and former Mossad Director Efraim Halevy.

The conference is expected to draw more than 1,500 participants to discuss the key issues and challenges facing Israel and the Jewish world today.

Ronit Hesin Hochman, the CEO of the Jerusalem Post Group, said that “the conference this year is expected to be more dynamic than ever before because the debate will focus, among other things, on global terrorism, the U.S. presidential elections and strained relations between the two countries. We will continue to generate headlines and provoke the international debate on the State of Israel.”
