Jerusalem, Israel — February 9, 2015 … The following is a statement from PrimeMinister Benjamin Netanyahu on the Iranian nuclear missile threat:

“While there are those that deal with protocol or politics, a grave, lethal Munich agreement with Iran that would endanger the existence of Israel is being produced.

According to the reports that I am now receiving, this agreement will allow Iran within a few years the capacity to produce dozens of nuclear bombs.

As Prime Minister of the State of Israel it is my duty to do everything to prevent this dangerous agreement. I remain determined to go to Washington and present Israel’s position to members of Congress and the American people.

Since the establishment of the state until now, there have been a few disagreements on substantive issues between Israel and the US. But through it all, our relations remained steadfast, as strong and as united as two nations can be. Our strong and healthy relationship will remain, grow and continue to inspire. Our enemies will never separate us.”
